Jane is a helicopter pilot in the U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Infantry.
She is wearing her Woodland BDU's and Black Combat Boots. She comes
with LC-2 Load Bearing Equipment- Combat Suspenders, Belt, and Canteen
with Carrier. She is armed with an M-16-A2 Assault Rifle and Ammo
Pouches. Jane wears Dog Tags for identification, and she comes with
two hats: a Red Beret and a Kevlar Helmet with Woodland Cover.
I just had to have this doll! My father and brother served in
the 82nd Airborne, and red hair runs in our family, so I imagined this
doll as part of our family. She is so awesome! Too bad her
red hair is molded plastic, instead of rooted fiber... This doll
also came in a blonde version and a brunette version.
The first G.I. Jane was made in 1997.
She is a US Army Helicopter Pilot and comes with an AN/PRC-90 radio, survival
vest, pistol, jump suit, flight helmet, boots, and dog tags. She
was available as a Caucasian with blonde hair, brown hair, red hair, or
black hair, in addition to the African American version shown below.
